Xinjiangwan Wetland Ecology Guanniao Painiao Base with your dog
Arriving by bike, scooter or car is easy. It’s around 1h from downtown to Yangpu. It’s nearby German/french school.’ There’s areas to park your scooter or drop of from taxi. Also around the streets nearby are parking areas for your own car. The park is divided by a bigger street into north and south Park. The north park is more natural and less crowded.
The South Park a bit more developed with several
saxophonists and people enjoying their Freetime. Never too crowded in general. Also always to enter as there’s no entrance fee and they do have toilets around. But no stores
around there.
Big plus. Daxue Lu is around 10 min by scooter and offers lots of nice restaurants with outside areas for dining. It’s having a western charme and worth a look on its own. Actually (2023) the whole street is every weekend closed for cars. So there’s markets on the street. Lots of venues also dog friendly. Big recommend is Momenti (ltalien) and Black
salt (Indian-Chinese fusion).Try it out.

North park.
The entrance of the north Park. It’s east of the bridge and has two entrances. In the north park it’s more leash free friendly. Also it’s more natural. The patches are diverse. From stones, mud over elevated wooden planks. You can choose a lot of
different ways and find several nice areas. Never too crowded. A must go. Also the water is nice for your dogs to swim. Several big stone’s invite you to take a Picknick for yourself. As well some SuP (Stand up paddle) been seen there and people swimming there which is officially not
allowed 😉
South park.
The South Park is just across the street. There’s normally more people. Less Picknick opportunities but also very beautiful for a walk. During the day several people practicing singing, Saxophone playing, fan dancing lady’s and much more. Also there’s a bird area where you can see several special birds.
