The Jingshan Hike to Jingshan temple is a dog-friendly trail, allowing dogs of all sizes to accompany their owners on the journey. The well-marked paths wind through picturesque forests, tranquil streams, and captivating waterfalls, providing a scenic and enjoyable hiking experience for both you and your furry friend.
As you and your dog hike the trail, you’ll pass through a mystical bamboo forest that adds a touch of tranquility to the journey.
At the summit of Jingshan Mountain, you’ll find the Jingshan Temple, a sacred Buddhist site. While the temple itself allows small dogs to enter, you can still walk around the small boardwalk at the top and take in the view. The temple’s serene ambience and beautiful architecture provide a serene backdrop for reflection and relaxation.
Note: The trail from the parking lot to the temple can get busy, try to go earlier in the morning. However you can start further down the mountain and hike up toward the parking lot. That path is a lot less and better for dogs to be off leash than the main trail.
