Dog Friendly Hotels And Activies In Yingchuan

Yingchuan sits in She County, Anhui. It is fairly remote, meaning it is quiet place to escape the busy city life and reconnect with nature.

As the area is remote I didn’t find many hotel options in the area, especially that accepted both dogs and foreigners.  That being said there is an awesome guesthouse located in one the villages. There were many other people there with their dogs as well. It us surrounded by hiking paths of all difficulty levels as well as mountain biking trails, this place has it all!

Where to stay

Please note there have been reports of village dogs getting caught in traps. The homestay is trying to solve the problem and make it safe again for our pups! Contact the hotel to inquire before booking.

Wild Homestay

The Surroundings
Wild Homestay

Wild Homestay is nestled in a small village area in She County, Anhui. This is a fairly well known are as there are many paths perfect for hiking and mountain biking. When we went there were many people staying here for mountain biking.

The hotel has a mixed western and Chinese vibe to it. The decor is very nice and relaxing. The hotel is overall very cozy. The rooms are all spread out, but the lobby and restaurant area are easily accessible from all the rooms.

The hotel has a list of paths you can follow and shows the paths on an app. There are details, such as length, difficulty, views, etc.. for each hike. They have hikes of all difficulties  around the guesthouse, so you can easily choose a path that is suitable for you.

The Hotel

Wild Homestay

The hotel has many different style rooms. Not all accept dogs, but there is a  decent amount of rooms where our four legged friends are allowed. We also had no problem taking our pups to the restaurant area and in the lobby when we wanted to eat or relax.
Overall, the hotel was super laid back and relaxed about our pups (and were 5 dogs, 2 people).
The room was nice, clean and comfortable. Our room was basic but for the price of 220 RMB a night, what else can you expect!

The food was delicious! They even had some freshly made waffles available on the menu! Yes we tried them and yes they were really good!
