The best dog friendly hotels in Wuyuan

Wuyuan in Jiangxi province is famous for its yellow flowers, but what most people don’t know is that it a perfect place to explore with swimmable waterfalls, lakes, ancient villages and so many hiking trails.
We know finding places to stay with dogs can be difficult so we tried 2 different hotels that accept dogs. It is advised to always call the hotel in advance to confirm dogs are allowed and to poop and scoop in the hotel lawn.

Victoria House

The hotel

Victoria House is owned by Ed and Selina. They both speak fluent English which makes communication super easy. The hotel has a bar, a garden and a swimming pool. It is also located next to a  river. The river is 10m deep so only go swimming if you are a strong swimmer, otherwise stick to the pool.
The staff is super polite and helpful and didn’t seem bothered by our dogs at all! The best part of the hotel is the location.

The Location

Right behind the hotel there is a tea field and a few really nice hikes which are perfect for the dogs to run and be off leash! The staff and Ed know the area really well, so they can recommend some great hiking in the area.

On the booking platforms they do not accept dogs but if you call and ask they can accept dogs as they are a dog loving family.

Please contact Ed in advance if you would like to bring your furry family

Skywells

Skywells is also run by Ed and Selina (mentioned above). This hotel is super cool and located in a small authentic ancient village. The hotel is a beautifully restored Hui style house. It has wooden frames and a lot of the wood work is authentic.
The hotel has a bar and a small yard which is perfect for the pups. The ancient village is also very beautiful and picturesque to walk around in.
On the booking platforms it says they do not accept dogs but if you call and ask they can accept dogs as they are a dog loving family.

Please contact Ed in advance if you would like to bring your furry family
